Pivovary Staropramen is the second largest beer producer in the Czech Republic, with over 15 % share of the domestic market. Staropramen brand is exported to 30 countries of the world.

At present, we operate two breweries – Staropramen Brewery in Smíchov and Ostravar, which is located in the city of Ostrava.

We offer our customers and consumers one of the broadest portfolio of beer brands in the Czech Republic. The portfolio consists of the nationwide brands Staropramen and Braník, the regional brands Ostravar, Měšťan and Vratislav. The broad range of brands is filled out by our original specialty beer – smooth Velvet.

We also offer Belgian beers -  Stella Artois, Hoegaarden and Leffe, which vary in terms of colour, taste, and alcohol content.

In the Czech Republic, you can find these beers in Staropramen branded restaurants called Staropramen Potrefená husa as well as in selected restaurants and bars.

In 2003, Pivovary Staropramen became a co-founder of the Responsible Breweries Initiative (for more information, see www.brewersinitiative.com).
