Braník

Braník is a typical Czech beer with a very refreshing taste, a natural "bite" and pure hopsy aroma. Braník Brewery was founded by a group of brewmasters from small historical breweries in 1899 under the name "Corporate Brewery of Prague Brewmasters".

The author of the first artistic design of the Braník brand logo was Mikoláš Aleš – the design is based on the period mark of the Czech brewmasters which, according to tradition, was granted to them by King Charles IV. The original coat-of-arms with the symbols of the maltsters' craft – two old-fashioned wooden malt rakes, intertwining a crown – the symbol of royal favour, was combined with the figure of St. Wenceslas, the patron saint of maltsters. Two angels added to the design at a later date are a symbol of Prague.

Braník is a well-known and popular brand with nationwide distribution. The first batch of this beer was brewed in 1900.
